Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

Pelvic Health Physiotherapist

I work as a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, treating patients with pregnancy and post-natal related musculoskeletal issues - pelvic girdle pain, lower back and hip pains, post-natal rehabilitation, pelvic floor rehab and return to exercise/sport. I graduated as a physiotherapist in 2012 and have worked with many patients with musculoskeletal injuries - ranging from back and neck pains, sporting injuries, chronic or long standing musculoskeletal conditions and post-operative rehab.

I have completed specific training through the POGP (pelvic and obstetric gynaecological physiotherapists) and APPI (Pilates), providing me with the skills to offer a well rounded approach when assessing and treating my patients. With expert training at The Pelvic Academy and POGP, I continue to develop my practice in the assessment and treatment of pelvic health conditions including pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, and bowel conditions.

I have a keen interest in helping people return to the activities and sports they love after injury or in the post-natal period - with a specialist understanding in the principles of Pilates and strength and conditioning.

When not doing physio work, I spend a lot of time experimenting in making ceramics, exploring different places on my bike or getting out of the city for a walk in nature. I also enjoy strength training and the odd yoga class here and there.
